Morning Training (5:30 am)

“Run” w/Rhett Butler

Run 800m, walk 400m, Run 1200m, walk 400m, Run 2000m

Total:  3 miles in 35 min…Trying to get this pup back into condition!

Afternoon Training (6:30pm)

Clean & Jerk Program Week 2 –

6x4 Clean & Jerk (85#)

WOD:

15 min amrap
10 Snatch (95/65)
10 Toe-to-Bar
10 Hand Release Pushup

Score: 4 Rds + 10 (55) + 8

This is a perfect example of why I’m not competitive….i stink at toe-to-bar, snatch, and pushups.  Was aiming for 5 rounds, but toe-to-bar are my downfall. 

Normally, I wouldn’t do strength and endurance on the same day, but Twinkie can get up and WOD with me Tues & Wed this week, so I won’t be able to take Rhett Butler on his run tomorrow morning. 

Eating:

Post-Run Breakfast (7:00am): ham  & onion omelette, package of cottage cheese, ½ c. raspberries, ½ oz. almonds

Lunch (12:00pm): grilled chicken w/broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and spinach, ½ c .raspberries

Snack (5:30 pm): apple, ½ oz almonds

Post-WOD (8:30 pm): Body fortress whey protein

Dinner (9;00 pm): broiled tilapia and 2 c. minestrone (yes out of a can.  Sooo tired.  Could not bring myself to make dinner. And would have just gone to bed if I didn’t have to get up at 5 to train.)
