Because clearly I forgot to post this last Friday.
Training:
Was supposed to be a rest day. Which I’m sure my body desperately needed, especially my hamstrings. But working out is my stress relief, and after a long week of work, when I realized I had time to make it to the gym before a dinner party I was supposed to attend AND that today’s wod was high rep wall balls, I thought it must be fate. Rest day can wait.

WOD:

30 wall balls (20/14)
30 KB Swings (53/35)
Score: 10:00 on the money. While that may not be an outstanding score by many people’s standards, it was great for me. I felt better on the wall balls. I only broke once in the first set and twice in the second. For someone whose wall balls have to be done usually 3-4 at a time, I’m stoked!
Eating:
Breakfast (7:00 am) : mushroom, onion, and ham omelette. Starbucks grande triple shot skinny vanilla latte. I am a bit of a Starbucks nut. This is my drink. It makes me happy. In law school, I drank probably 3 of these per day. Studying for the bar exam this summer, more like 5-6 of these per day. That’s a lot of espresso coursing through my veins….it’s no wonder I need a glass of wine in the evening to calm down enough to sleep.
Lunch (12:30pm): Zoe’s kitchen – half order of steak roll ups and a side of white beans
Snack (4:00 pm): other half of steak roll ups
Snack (7:00 pm): glass of white wine
Dinner: (8:00pm): pot roast w/carrots and celery, mashed potatoes, thin slice of key lime pie, Boom Boom red wine
